For Mother Teresa of Calcutta Medical Center, better facilities mean better care. As such, last May 27, 2019, it proudly opened its new cardiopulmonary unit.
The medical center recognizes the need for improved and more comprehensive healthcare facilities as the number of cardio pulmonary cases grows each year.
The new patient care unit features state-of-the-art technology to allow better diagnosis and treatment of cardiopulmonary diseases. This is in line with the hospital’s goal of providing centralized and holistic healthcare that is always ready to respond to
The unit’s cardiovascular services include 2D echocardiography,electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG), treadmill stress test, and Holtermonitoring.
Meanwhile, its pulmonary services include pulmonary function testing(PFT), arterial blood gas monitoring (ABG), nebulization treatment,oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, and chest physiotherapy.

Starting on its opening date, 20% discount vouchers will be given to the first 210 patients of the unit.
